ART COLLECTIONS
WELCOME TO "BISSCHEN-KUNST"

Since my youth, I have been interested in all kinds of art. Therefore, I have visited many art and design exhibitions, famous museums, and historically important and contemporary architecture around the globe. After retiring as a medical doctor, I finally had time to fulfill my dream and passion to actively engage in fine art. Following an art education at a local art school for several years, I can now express my artistic thoughts and ideas in my own studio. Changing exhibitions of my individual artworks are continuously presented at the Café “Liebes Bisschen”, Freiburg i. Br., Germany.

OIL ARTWORKS

Oil, acryl, and watercolor painting techniques cover a wide range of art. I have always been interested in strong colors, clear graphic structures, colorful and structural counterpoints, harmony, and balance.

PRINT ARTWORKS

Over the years, I have paid attention to work with various printing materials and techniques such as linoleum, wood, unloading, and screen printing, as well as with aquatint and mixed media (e.g., 3-color printing). Abstracting and reducing, as well as expressionistic motifs delight me the most. This also includes motifs of shadow graphics.

OTHER ARTWORKS

I have a continuing interest in a variety of other art techniques. In addition to oil, acrylic, and watercolor paints as well as printing techniques, I use e. g. Indian ink, pastel chalk, pencil, and mixed media. Each of them has their own expression and quality, which both fascinate me very much.

SON MACIÀ, MALLORCA I 2017 / ACRYL ON PAPER  SOLD

At my request, Franz drew the beautiful painting for me. The colors and the technology are well-chosen and the motif really corresponds to my wishes. The painting was also reasonably priced for such a unique quality. I can't wait to ask Franz to draw me another great piece of art.
